SO.BE Stories is an educational app that teaches Kindergarten students social skills.
Teaching and supporting social/emotional development in elementary students improves current problematic behavior, increases the likelihood of preventing future antisocial behavior, enhances future educational outcomes, and creates positive school environments.
In 2016, a randomized pretest-posttest group design was utilized to compare the effects of the SO.BE Stories Curriculum with the regular classroom counseling program in three Iowa City elementary schools.
